Terms of Service for "Referi for Docs" Google Apps Script Add-on

This document outlines the terms of service ("Terms") for the "Referi " Google Apps Script add-on ("Add-on") developed for Google Docs. By using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope Access

The Add-on requires access to the following Google Cloud Platform (GCP) scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive: Allows the Add-on to access and manage Google Drive files, including opening and modifying Google Docs.

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui: Enables the Add-on to create a user interface within the Google Doc for interacting with the script.

  • The Add-on may read and modify content within the Google Doc.

  • The Add-on makes external requests to the Anthropic API for functionalities related to the Add-on's purpose.

  • The Add-on will access the user's personal email address that they use to access Google Docs.

2. User Data

The Add-on does not collect or store any of your Google Doc content or personal information for training large language models (LLMs).

3. Anthropic API Integration

The Add-on utilizes the Anthropic API for functionalities related to its purpose. The Anthropic API operates under its own Terms of Service (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/consumer-terms) and Privacy Policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy). We recommend you review these documents for a complete understanding of Anthropic's data practices.

4. Disclaimer

The Add-on is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the Add-on.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Add-on at any time without notice.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.

7. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page. Your continued use of the Add-on after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
